As the current chapter of Knowledge2Action comes to a close, the saplings planted will continue to grow, prosper, and bear fruits – here’s a snapshot of the seeds sown!
The Cluster of Cooperation (CLOC) Knowledge to Action (K2A) in South Asia is a “public good” open to Swiss and South Asian institutions that are interested in partnering for the promotion of the SDGs in South Asia and Switzerland through research and education.
CLOC K2A South Asia aims to be a regional hub to facilitate cooperation in research and education on environmental sustainability and social well being. It seeks to promote regional collaboration and interdisciplinary engagement for the SDGs in South Asia. Our main focus is the conversion of academic knowledge outputs into actions and tools for diverse SDG actors.
K2A aims at bridging the gap between scientific research and the potential users and implementers of the knowledge, namely: policymakers, activists, journalists, educators and community workers. We focus not only on conventional forms of knowledge dissemination, but also on dialogue, imparting particular skills and collective learning across professions.
Thank you to every collaborator, learner, and change maker. Though funding has ended, the K2A spirit lives on in the connections fostered, the knowledge translated, and local impacts generated.
